The venue

The conference will be held at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse (IESC). The Institute is located at walking distance from the village of Cargèse, a little village on the west coast of Corsica, 75km north of Ajaccio. IESC provides a relaxing and enjoyable environment that optimizes fruitful scientific interactions. It is also located close to the beach!

Getting there

Ajaccio is the nearest airport to Cargèse and is connected to several daily flights to Paris and other European cities. Please visit the Ajaccio airport website for a list of airlines serving the area. For other means of traveling, visit Cargèse's webpage. Below is a list (current as of December 13, 2017 – updated on January 18, 2018) of flights serving Ajaccio on our dates. All are with Air Corsica (which is linked with Air France and Hop!) except where stated. More flights may be added by these and other airline companies during the coming months. Bus transportation to/from Cargèse is planned for those arriving/departing on the flights that are listed in red. Two buses will be arranged to take conference participants from Ajaccio airport to Cargèse. The first bus will pick up the participants who have arrived on the (Sunday 25 March 2018) 15:10 flight from Paris as well as on earlier flights. The second bus will pick up the participants who have arrived on the (Sunday 25 March 2018) 18:55 flight from Marseille as well as on earlier flights. The bus trip lasts approximately 90 minutes.

There will be two buses back from Cargèse to Ajaccio airport on Saturday 31 March 2018. They will leave Cargèse early enough for the participants to make the 10:25 flight to Paris and the 12:05 flight to Paris. Please note that you will be required to vacate the conference accommodation on Saturday 31 March 2018 by 11am.
